THE PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE AUSTRALIA SERIES is today proud to announce a new partnership with Mission Foods, who will become the presenting sponsor of the series for the next three years.

The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia presented by Mission Foods will join high-profile sports franchises including the Western Bulldogs AFL team and the Queensland Firebirds ANZ Championship Netball team as partners of Mission Foods, one of the world’s largest tortilla, flatbread and corn flour producers.

Category Manager Jodi Zylstra says she was pleased to secure such a reputable brand committed to both motorsport and sport in general as the category’s inaugural Presenting Partner.

“This is a great way to start 2010. The GT3 Cup Challenge has gained momentum since its inception in 2008 and we are delighted to have a Presenting Partner for the next three years,” says Zylstra.

“It is terrific that Mission Foods has chosen the GT3 Cup Challenge as a way to expand its brand into motorsport.”

GT3 Cup Challenge director and competitor Sven Burchartz will carry Mission Foods signage on his Type 997 GT3 Cup Car as part of the category sponsorship arrangement, in effect giving Mission Foods its own car to reinforce its branding and involvement in motorsport.

The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia Series presented by Mission Foods will begin their six-round 2010 schedule with a grid of nearly 40 cars at the ArmorAll Bathurst 12 hour event, to be held at Mount Panorama on February 12 – 14.

The round will be broadcast nationally in a special one-hour television package on the Seven network.
